Greg's Bio

Mr. Greg McNally has 24 years experience in restaurant development, operations and management training. Mr. McNally has held management position with national restaurant companies such as Gordon Biersch Brewery and Grill Concepts, Inc. parent company to the Daily Grill and the Grill in the Alley restaurants. Mr. McNally has advised independent restaurant owners on operations, management training and business transitions. He is the past Co-Founder and COO of Oaxaca Inc. the parent company of San Francisco’s Wa-Ha-Ka Mexican Grill restaurants and the Baton Rouge Cajon Roadhouse. Mr. McNally is also the past owner and operator of the Anacapa Restaurant in Manhattan Beach, California.

Currently, Mr. McNally is a Faculty member at the Art Institute Culinary Arts / Culinary Management program in Santa Monica, California. Mr. McNally uses Hungry Mind lessons in preparing for the Food and Beverage Management class and in "Bistro 31" the full service student operated campus restaurant.

Mr. McNally has completed courses in Professional Cooking at the California Culinary Academy and has completed the Sommelier, Lv.1 exam. Mr. McNally has been featured on CNN small business report and his restaurants have been Zagat rated, and featured in the Los Angeles Time, Daily Breeze, San Francisco Chronicle and San Francisco Business Times. Mr. McNally is a committed community and industry volunteer and currently serves on the Board of the California Restaurant Association’s Los Angeles Chapter.
